Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Whistleblower & Ethics program?
The Whistleblower & Ethics program is an easy to use, anonymous communication connection between employees and upper management/ownership of a corporation or organization.
How does the Whistleblower & Ethics program work?
The Whistleblower & Ethics program allows for the facilitation of anonymous communications between employees and organizations through the collection of data provided in a form (i.e. written, electronic) and allows for continuous communication with the employee until the matter is deemed resolved by the organization. All whistleblower submissions are communicated to an individual designated by the organization to receive and process confidential information as well as take proper steps to follow internal resolution procedures. A full summary of all program activity is provided to a designated member of senior management, chairpersons of audit committees or chairpersons of boards of directors, as to be determined by the organization.
Do I have to reveal my identity?
No. There may however be certain circumstances where your identity may be required to take action- for example, if you are reporting any sort of harassment, your personal safety may be a concern and therefore your identity may be needed to ensure that appropriate measures are taken by your organization. By default, the Whistleblower & Ethics program software is designed to keep your identity anonymous if you prefer; however, the option is always provided should you decide to identify yourself.
Is the Whistleblower & Ethics program affiliated with my company?
No. The Whistleblower & Ethics program is independently owned and operated by Indition™. It is not affiliated with any organizations participating in the use of the Whistleblower & Ethics program.
What types of issues can I report?
Employees can report any number of concerns related to topics that are pre-selected by their organization, such as fraud, theft, conflicts of interest or harassment. Please review your organization’s form landing page and related policies for what types of concerns they wish for you to report on.
Why does Indition™ request my email address?
While providing your email address is completely voluntary, should you chose to do so, it will not be provided to your employer unless you authorize. Keep in mind that providing your email address can be a valuable asset if your employer is trying to investigate your report and requires further information to take any kind of action.
Why should I check on the status of my reported issue?
Checking on the status of your reported concern is recommended. It is important to verify that your concern was received by your organization. If there are any questions or requests for additional details, these will be posted for you to respond, where possible. Your continued participation in communication remains anonymous and can be crucial in resolving your reported issue.
How do I access my reported issue?
Following the submission of your report, you will be provided with a set of credentials which will be required to access your submission. It is recommended that you keep a record of this information. Without it, you will not be able to view the status of your issue or respond to any follow up questions.
